This baby 'dino' is really the dinosaur's descendant, the chicken. The skull rests upon a cool piece of wood I found in my travels with part of Red Admiral Butterfly (Vanessa atalanta) wing right behind the skull.
On the 'forest floor' there's dried moss, bits of an oak tree, bark, various bones, and a snail shell.
The dome is made of glass and is glued to the golden ceramic hand. The whole pieces stands about 6 inches tall.
Keep in a dry, cool place and out of sunlight to protect the color on the butterfly wing.
