'The Meeting'

On this vintage glass box is a deer engraving with trees in the fore and background.

In the box are three Frog Beetles (Sagra laticollis) having an important, top-secret meeting with a snail. 

On the ground around them is a freshwater clam shell, various bones, bark, sticks, pieces of acorn shells, and snake skin.

The box is 3" long x 3" wide x 1.5" deep and opens from the top, so this isn't a sealed piece.

Keep in a cool, dry place and out of direct sunlight to protect the beetles.
