"Whispering Sweet Nothings"

On this rusty steel plate, is a curious rabbit listening to the sweet nothings of the Green June Beetle (Cotinis nitida). 

Fragments of the rabbits skull are splayed out on top of dried moss and bark. There's a couple snail shells, pieces of snake sheds, and small forest bits. You can even see inside the sinuses and ear canals of the rabbit, an artistic choice my mom's dog decided on. 

The plate is 9 and 3/4 inches tall by 6 1/2 inches wide. It is 13 inches tall, when hung on the wall. 

Keep in a dry area or an area with some ventilation as this isn't a sealed piece.
